Old School/New Generation
We, as the Kink/Leather/Fetish/Alternative community do not all have the same history. We were brought into our lifestyle via many different paths and through many different venues. How do each of these schools relate to the community as a whole? The New Generation of Kink/Leather/Fetish/Alternative people are not designated by age, but by many factors, most of which relate to how we came to be where we are now. How, in this new world can we hold space for everyone to enjoy themselves? The landscape has, and will continue to evolve. Who was the Old School and who is the New Generation? Let's bring this frequently discussed topic into the light.
With Hedonistic Intention
A person devoted to the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification is called a hedonist. Taking a cue from the hedonistic lifestyle can make even the most mundane experience most enjoyable. In this workshop, we will go through the actions of intentional hedonism with every day tasks, such as eating, grooming, and experiencing the simple things in the world around you. The five senses are a frequently neglected outside of the dungeon, and this class will give you the tools that you need to have an incredible hedonistic experience just about anywhere, without scaring the natives. *This is not a workshop on sadomasochism, but the skill sets can be used in relationships, scenes and with a touch of imagination, just about everywhere. (While there are no demo bottoms needed, this is a very participatory class.)
PHYSICAL/SM SKILLS
From the Knees Down
Knees, shins, calves, ankles, arches, toes, heels and wonderful sensitive skin. This often neglected part of the body is a hedonistic playground for sadomasochistic delights. From the soft and delicate sensation of a lovers kiss to the the resonating thud of a rod or the sting of a whip, there is so much good play from the knees down. This class, taught by a long time foot fetishist and lover of this sort of play, will cover the medical information that you should be aware of for this sort of play as well as give you ideas and guidelines so that you can experience the best play possible for play from the knees down.

This is a more advanced Role Playing class, specifically catering to Gender and Age Play. It can be offered together or as separate classes.

Gracious Brutality
Brutality. Physical force. We see what we call “impact play” in one form or another at almost every play party. While tops frequently get the 101 on where and how to perform impact play on a willing bottom‘s body, we rarely discuss the psychology that can reside behind such actions. Having the audacity to inflict intense sensations on another person in forms that frequently mirror non-consensual violence is not something that everyone can just jump into. Additionally, having the wherewithal to receive such sensation for many takes more than just the physical act of being present. Brutal play brings a rush of endorphins like little else, and can also increase the intimacy and trust that you have with your playmates. We’ll discuss the basics of slapping, elbowing, kicking, punching; and what you need to know as a top and bottom for the literal application of such actions. (Special attention will be given to the less typical areas, such as the face.) Additionally, we’ll focus on how these actions make us feel beyond the physical, and how we can work such play into our repertoires with grace. Finally a role playing class where transformations happen in front of your eyes-without the benefit of a dressing room!
Of course you take your roles in life seriously. Many of us both work and play hard. Some of us identify as Masters, Ma'ams, slaves, boys, girls and many other things in between, and sometimes things not even close to those titles. Join Julian Wolf as we explore the roles that we play to find the fantasy in them-as well as delving into our imaginations for new, exciting roles to play. The nine basic forms of role playing will be covered, as well as how to put together a fantasy role playing scene that will work for you and your playmates, starting from the skin up. Costume changes, ideas, tips and tricks will be presented in this fun and informative workshop by someone who's been enjoying role playing and creating fantasies for as long as they can remember.

Wax Play- The Complete Scene
Think of wax play as a great "warm up" or something soothing to do right before aftercare? Afraid of wax play because you don't want to lose your lovely body hair? This class gives you the tips, tricks and tools to make waxing a memorable scene, for both the top and bottom. This class will cover the basics and go right into advanced techniques and will entice and excite tops, bottoms and everything in between as well as offer new ideas or variations to even the most experienced players.

Wax Without Wicks
(Wax Play- The Complete Scene without lighting any candles. An intensive class specifically designed to meet fire codes. Originally taught as a six hour intensive prep, this can be a short to long format workshop.)
With Minimal Restraint: the Artistry and Psychology of Little To No Restraint with Bondage
What is restraint? What is bondage? How do these things affect you? How can restraint make us feel, as both tops, bottoms, dominants and submissives? Please bring your ideas for the guided discussion. We'll go over some of the mental aspects of restraint, different types of minimal bondage (such as collars and jewelry), cuffs, and discuss freely how and why we use restraint in play and in our lives. We'll then go over two or three "ties" including a basic wrist cuff (that's great for sleeping in and/or basic service), a full body harness (a twisted tortoise shell) and/or a simple chest harness, depending on time. Come and share how restraint can make us feel and change our outlook! Please bring your favorite types of restraints (and/or rope, scarves et cetera) for the hands on portion.

RELATIONSHIP SKILLS
Aftercare for Tops
What happens when the buttons pushed in the scene aren't the bottoms? What if daddy slipped and actually harmed her boy? Bottoms aren't the only ones in a scene with emotional and physical triggers, and tops can crash just as hard (and sometimes harder) than bottoms. This class explores not only the inevitability of "Top Drop" but also goes into detail about tools we should have as bottoms for when the person who needs aftercare the most isn't the one you would expect. Of course Role Playing is fun! We love it and it plays a role in each of our lives. Leather Family Dynamics
This class could be a Panel or a discussion. The panel would go over our different definitions of Leather Family and how those dynamics work in our lives, comparing the different ways that the panel uses the terms and the dynamics. As a discussion, we would go over different definitions, how to create your own Leather Family and ways that have worked in the past and offer some tools to use when creating the dynamic that works best for you and yours.

Stereotypes as Starting Places
Merriam-Webster states that a stereotype is "a standardized mental picture that is held in common by members of a group and that represents an oversimplified opinion." Many of us start with stereotypes- a Mistress looks like this, a Leatherman acts like this, boys always do that, girls always like this… and that's ok. We all start with a pre-conceived image and/or an idea of what we think we want, and we can use that notion as a foundation to find, and keep what we can have. Those preconceived notions can both lead us down the right path and, if left unchecked, set us up for disappointment.
